Roundabouts can improve safety and capacity for an intersection, in many cases to a higher degree than the more traditional signalized intersection. This is the primary reason that roundabouts are being selected as the intersection type to improve Exit 22. To educate Pennsylvanians on how to navigate a roundabout, PennDOT created videos that show viewers how to use both single and multi-lane roundabouts whether in a car or truck, on a bicycle or on foot.
